Throughout the website we have tried to include as much of our nursery life as possible and share with you some of the fun filled activities and excitement that happens here everyday.
Building Blocks Kindergarten is owned by Claire Reece-Hamshere who planned and designed Building Blocks Kindergarten for almost four years. The objective was to provide quality childcare facilities for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. The nursery has been purpose built with all aspects of children's safety and comfort in mind as well as a stimulating and exciting environment. It is our aim to provide the highest possible standard of care.
The nursery is separated into 3 individual units so that each of the age groups can feel secure and develop as a group alongside their peers. Each of the units carefully plan the children's activities according to their age and developmental stage, which is designed to be fun, stimulating and of course educational at the same time. All children of pre-school age follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and are entitled to Nursery Grant Funding from the term after their third birthday.
Building Blocks Kindergarten opened in October 2000. It has an extensive CCTV system throughout the nursery, four individual gardens with safety surface flooring, exceptional outdoor play equipment and large private parking for parents and staff.
Every member of staff has been carefully screened and police checked to ensure their suitability. A large percentage of the nursery staff hold a relevant childcare qualification plus a number of staff are working towards achieving a qualification in childcare.
We work very closely with you as parents and aim to provide the very best quality care and education for your children. Knowing that you have complete peace of mind when leaving your children at Building Blocks Kindergarten is a priority for us and we look forward to building a relationship with you and your child.
